Oldest person in my family pt 2

The oldest person on my dads side is my grandmother. At a current age of 91 she has lived her life to its fullest. Frances Brooks was born in Atlantic City,NJ on Feb. 4 1917. She moved to Philadelphia when her youngest child reached the age of 2. When she first moved to Philadelphia she lived in West Philadelphia. Then she moved to Mt. Airy. In Mt. Airy she became a sunday school teacher. After 2 years of teaching she settled down and became a caregiver for her family.

She was born into a family of 7 children, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Her mother was Ella Scalford her maiden name Smothers. My great grandmother was a very quiet and soft spoken. My grand mother shares the same personality as my great grand mother. My great grandfather Harry Scalford was a dedicated fireman. He worked as a firefighter for 42 years. Harry was a very out spoken person. He liked expressing his feelings to his family. 

My grandmother is  a perfectionist. She likes being better than every one else, above average. I am the same way when I feel that people are getting ahead of me in something. Mostly all of her life Frances lived in Atlantic City. When she was younger she lived on Mediterranean Ave, Harris Place, and Ohio Ave. These are some of the few places in Atlantic City where she lived. She is still alive today being strong and caring for her loved ones. 

Frances now at the current age of 92 has 3 children, Lawrence Jr (64), Patricia (62), and my father Stephen (57). She has 5 grand children, Raygan, Dax, Lisa, Leanndra, and Lasheda. She also has 7  great-grand children. At this current age she is now grieving for her husband of 71 years Lawrence Brooks Sr. He passed on Feb. 12, 2009.
